Love & Harmattan was a vibrant, expressive entry in the Lagos in Toronto event series—one that channeled the duality of softness and edge in its name. My task was to craft a recap that honored the warmth and wildness of the night, capturing both the high-octane energy on the dancefloor and the mellow, magnetic moments between.

Creative Direction

The visual language leaned into saturation and contrast. I used heatwave-toned lighting, digital texture overlays, and dynamic transitions to evoke the warmth of the Harmattan season—dusty, fiery, unforgettable. I wanted the piece to feel like a fever dream of good music, good people, and good chaos. DJ Lambo helming the night added a signature pulse I made sure to highlight.

Outcome

The recap served as a nostalgic time capsule for attendees and an irresistible promo tool for future events.
