Overview

Wade, an online fashion label known for its streetwear edge, approached me to create a visualizer for the launch of their latest winter collection. The goal was to translate the collection's aesthetic—bold, urban, and unbothered—into a visual experience that felt like a cinematic mood board.

Creative Direction

We staged the shoot in the heart of Toronto’s subway system, leaning into the motion and symmetry of transit spaces. The concept was rooted in contrast: stillness versus movement. Each subject stood composed and centered while the trains blurred behind them, underscoring the idea that Wade’s wearers are unmoved by the noise. I used wide-angle compositions, slow shutter effects, and a palette that accentuated the grit and color of the underground. Typography and motion design were minimal, bold, and unapologetic—just like the clothes.

Outcome

The final cut served as a social media piece for the collection drop. It successfully positioned the Wade brand as both stylish and grounded in the pulse of city life. The video boosted traffic to their site during launch week and was reposted by several local creatives, helping expand its reach beyond their usual audience.
